Click here to submit your nomination before August 31 at 4 p.m. Free mental health boost for the trades IHSA has partnered with the Mental Health Commission of Canada to launch The Working Mind for the Trades, a virtual, instructor-led training program that addresses the unique mental health challenges faced by workers in the industries we serve. Bridging health and safety gaps IHSA’s and its Labour-Management Network recently hosted more than 100 participants at a day-long symposium to help members improve specific aspects of health and safety at their workplaces. The event was presented in collaboration with 3M Canada, whose representatives offered six workshops highlighting the latest advice on planning, practices, and personal protective equipment to address hazards such as dropped objects, respiratory hazards, and leading edge work.
