A MESSAGE FROM THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR As June wraps up, I want to wish you and your families a Happy Canada Day! July 1st is a chance to reflect on what this country means to us and to say thank you. Thank you for your service, your sacrifice, and the values you carry with you every day. This month, I also want to invite you to share your story. Every member of our community has a journey worth telling. Your experience could be the encouragement someone else needs to take that next step, whether it’s applying for a job, starting an apprenticeship, or reaching out to an H2H advisor for the first time. If you’d like to be featured in an upcoming success story, we’d love to hear from you. Reach out to our team and let’s share what we’ve accomplished together. Jim FROM SERVICE TO SKILLED TRADES: SHARE YOUR SUCCESS STORY We’re looking for Helmets to Hardhats participants to share their experiences from apprenticeships, training courses, joining a union, or working on a job site. Your journey from military service to a rewarding skilled trades career could inspire others to take the next step. Whether it’s a few sentences or a brief interview, your story can help fellow Veterans, military members, and their families discover new opportunities and show the impact of the H2H program. As a token of appreciation, you will also receive H2H swag! If you’re interested in sharing your story, please fill out our brief questionnaire or reach out to sfrey@helmetstohardhats.ca.
