Helmets To Hardhats February Newsletter

February Stats & Updates
A message from the Executive Director, James Hogarth
At Helmets to Hardhats, we are seeing incredible momentum in Alberta thanks to new funding for pre-employment safety training. This investment is allowing more Veterans, Reservists, and military family members to gain the certifications needed to transition seamlessly into the skilled trades. With this support from the Government of Alberta, we’ve seen a significant influx of new clients eager to build their second careers.

At the same time, we are experiencing a surge in job postings from our employer partners who recognize the value of hiring military-trained personnel. The demand for skilled workers has never been higher, and we are proud to help connect our members with meaningful opportunities across the trades.

We encourage both employers and job seekers to take full advantage of this moment. If you’re looking to hire or take the next step in your career, now is the time to get involved. Together, we are building stronger futures for our military community and the skilled trades industry.
