It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the passing of Honourary Brother John “Jack” Byrne on Friday July 10, 2020 in his 88th year. Brother Byrne was an active member since 1957 of IUEC Local 50 and retired honourably on June 1, 1995.
The family has informed us that there will be visitations held at the Oshawa Funeral Home located at 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Wednesday, July 15th, 2020, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. The funeral will be a private family service due to the COVID-19 situation. “Celebration of Life” will take place at a later date. Brother Olden was an active member of IUEC Local 50 for 32+ years and was known to always offer an assisting hand to his fellow Brothers and Sisters.
