| A MESSAGE FROM THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR As we move into spring, I’m proud to share some exciting news: we have received new funding from the Government of New Brunswick to develop our Skills Edge program. This funding is a significant milestone and a reflection of the value that Veterans, Reservists, Cadets, and military family members bring to the unionized construction sector. This investment will allow us to strengthen and grow the services we offer to you and your families. Whether you are transitioning out of service, supporting a loved one, or building toward your next chapter, we are here to build alongside you. Read more about this new program below. Thank you for being a part of the Helmets to Hardhats community. Your experience, skills, and dedication are what make our growth across Canada possible. Jim H2H EXPANDS SKILLS EDGE PROGRAM IN NEW BRUNSWICK We’re proud to announce new support from the Government of New Brunswick for Helmets to Hardhats’ Skills Edge program. H2H’s Skills Edge program provides employment-readiness support, outreach, and direct pathways to apprenticeships and certifications in the unionized construction sector. With this new funding, H2H will be able to reach more transitioning service members, Veterans, and military families in New Brunswick. It recognizes the discipline, work ethic and adaptability that the military community already brings and connects those skills with meaningful, long-term careers. This announcement is supported by leaders from the New Brunswick Government, Apprenticeship and Occupational Certification Board, New Brunswick’s Building Trades Unions, and local unions. Special thanks to H2H Veteran, Matthew, for attending the announcement! Read more The Skills Edge program has been making the news! Click the links below to see the coverage.
