Safety
Safety is paramount in the elevator trade, a principle firmly upheld by IUEC Local 50. The union ensures that mechanics and apprentices can identify and mitigate hazards through rigorous training, regular safety audits, and adherence to industry standards. This focus on safety protects workers and upholds service integrity.
Education
CEIEP was established in 1967 to provide a training Program to educate and train Elevator Mechanics and Helpers. Through the years, CEIEP has been recognized as the leading training delivery agent in provinces that have apprenticeship programs and recognized as an approved training provider in provinces that require Elevator Mechanics to be licensed in order to perform work on elevating devices.
Our comprehensive training program is provided to the members of the IUEC, who are the highest skilled and trained elevating devices Mechanics and Apprentices, in all of the Building and Construction Trades.
