It is with heart-felt sympathy that we inform you of the sudden passing of our Brother Grant Davidson on Friday August 25, 2017.  Brother Davidson will be resting at the

Visitation and Funeral arrangements are as follows:

Friday, September 1st 2017 from 2 – 4 pm & 7 – 9 pm, Saturday, September 2nd 2017 from 2 – 4 pm & 7 – 9 pm and also on Sunday, September 3rd 2017 from 1 – 3 pm.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John the Evangelist, 903 Giffard Street, Whitby on Saturday, September 2nd 2017 at 12 pm.  Cremation.

Please be advised that International Union of Elevator Constructors Local 125-A and National Elevator Escalator Association (NEEA) and the Construction Labour Relations Association of Newfoundland (CLRA) have agreed upon monetary terms and working conditions for a new 5 year Collective Bargaining Agreement expiring April 30th 2022. The membership of Local 125-A Newfoundland has ratified this new agreement and will be returning to work on 5/1/17

The Local 125-A Negotiating Committee along with the entire membership would like to thank all of the IUEC Locals Unions who financially supported our members and their families during this difficult time in obtaining a Collective Bargaining Agreement in Newfoundland.

The Greatest Strength of the IUEC, is the Brotherhood and un-wavering solidarity that all Elevator Constructors demonstrate when needed.
